A SUPER-SCALE AND SPLENDID CONFERENCE ON LOW CARBON ECONOMY IN CHINA, 2011!

The global low carbon economy wave has attracted attention from almost all walks of life. Particularly after the UNFCCC Copenhagen Conference 2009 (COP-15), those involved are not just limited to the people involved in policy on economic levels, but include almost every community from politics to technology and the general public. Currently, “low carbon” has become one of the most common phrases in daily life. During Oct. 19-26, 2011, BIT’s 1st Low Carbon Earth Summit (LCES-2011) was held in Dalian, China. The theme of the conference is “Leading the Green Economy, Returning to Harmony with Nature.” This congress comprised 10 Chapters and 112 sections following the ceremony, including “Low Carbon Economy”, “Low Carbon Industries and Carbon Neutral”, “Clean Development Mechanisms”, “Green Economy”, “Clean and Sustainable Energy”…etc. The mayor of Dalian, Wancai Li delivered the welcome speech at the opening ceremony. Honorable leaders and distinguished guests worldwide have come all the way to attend this congress. It attracted in excess of 1000 registrants from 58 countries.
